The mockbuster Monster Island 2019 by The Asylum was released ironically around the same time that Godzilla: King of the Monsters. It is about an island called Monster Island. A monster might be discovered there, and who could then become part of the island, the Monster Island.


This film is about an asylum. It has a budget roughly equal to a large child's meal. The movie focuses on a few main characters. It keeps all the sequences shot on one set, so it can focus on them (new updates) individually.
